Despite the jubilee weekend being over the party mood continued yesterday at RDA when we were feeling proudly patriotic at our morning and afternoon sessions. A platinum jubilee is not something we get to celebrate every day!

The flags were up and so was a wonderfully decorated table! Fortunately, using the indoor arena for the fun riding sessions, we didn’t have to rely on Mr Sunshine to do his bit 🌞

Thank you so much to the wonderful Heidi, from Heidi’s Cottage Cakery Ashington, for the cupcakes that were not only beautiful to look at they tasted heavenly too!

Such a treat to be eating delicious jubilee themed cupcakes and continuing our group reputation of enjoying cake, usually because it is someone’s birthday but this time, as if we needed one, we did have another excuse!

Thanks to everyone for making it a special and memorable day and special thanks to volunteers Denise and Val for all their efforts putting the event together.

It was one of those RDA days that will linger long in our memories.
