Arnold Clark Community Grant
A successful application to the Arnold Clark Community Fund resulted in a very welcome donation!
It was a great end to the month when we received the news that we had been successful in the Arnold Clark Community Fund. The group secured £500 in funding.
Arnold Clark is the UK’s largest independently owned, family-run, car retailer and set up the Community Fund as part of their commitment to give back to communities in which they operate. The fund helps charities and community groups continue their work during COVID and these challenging times.
We’re delighted to have been one of the charities to have been helped by this fund and a huge thank you to all at Arnold Clark for their generous award.

Why we’ve created the Arnold Clark Community Fund
It’s a devastating fact that due to COVID-19, one in ten UK charities are expected to file for bankruptcy (Pro Bono Economics, 2020).
So, as part of our commitment to give back to the communities in which we operate, we’ve created a fund to help registered UK charities and local community groups continue their important work during this challenging time.
The Arnold Clark Community Fund is open to all UK registered charities and local community groups who need financial assistance due to the coronavirus pandemic. The fund is also open to community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations and social enterprises.
The fund aims to help UK charities and local community groups continue their important work which may be at risk due to the coronavirus pandemic.
