It’s a big round of applause to coach Sarah-Jane for successfully renewing her First Aid at Work certificate with flying colours. Thank you SJ for getting back in the classroom to attend the course with trainer Lee who delivers very informative and interesting courses and, despite the serious nature of the subject, always brings a sense of humour with him. The refresher courses are designed to reinforce what has previously been learnt and to keep up to date with any new information and changes that have come through. Being a First Aider is such a valuable and beneficial life-skill to have under your belt and SJ your commitment to being prepared to help others, should the need arise, is testament to your kindness and compassion. Good to see ‘Bob’ the manikin was in your safe and caring hands. LFRDA first aiders play a crucial role at our RDA sessions and also in life generally, and well done SJ and all our first aid heroes, for being an integral part of ensuring safety and wellbeing in our community.
