The action was heating up when members of the LFRDA community were treated to a return visit to Hickstead. The weekend weather was glorious and the crowds were treated to some wonderful top class showjumping as well as the conclusion of the showing championships. There was so much talent to see with the world’s first class riders and horses in action, with the British certainly on top form during the event. They won the Agria Nations Cup of Great Britain, and The Agria King George V Gold Cup which saw an all British podium headed by Donald Whitaker. Well done to the riders, their support teams and the biggest thank you of them all must surely go to the true legends, all the horses and ponies, we have so many reasons to be grateful to them. Many thanks to Edward Bunn, executive director of Hickstead, for supporting our group with the complimentary tickets.              A wonderful opportunity to witness such a top level of equestrian sport.
