Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! There was certainly plenty of magic on Saturday at Ashington Festival and we are thrilled to announce we raised an amazing £1006! Massive thanks to everyone for taking part and without all the donated bottles we would not have raised so much. Special thanks to the terrific team of helpers throughout the day – you know who you are! What a stellar bunch full of heart and enthusiasm. Grateful thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, some coming back to our stall several times, and well done to everyone who won a prize, we hope you had as good a day as we did. The fair was a perfect setting to enjoy the company of new and old friends and their canine companions all enjoying a traditional afternoon, the laughter was contagious and we sparked some new interest in joining our group. Once again, we honestly can’t thank you enough for supporting our fundraising, in addition we would like to thank the organisers for welcoming us back again. We are still utterly blown away by the community spirit, generosity and kindness you’ve shown us which means so much. Same again next year?! 🤩
