With wall to wall sunshine, it was sunshine all the way for members of the LFRDA family who had a scorcher of a time at Hickstead, thanks to receiving complimentary tickets courtesy of Edward Bunn, Executive Director of Hickstead. The venue is world-renowned, attracting some of the best riders and equines in the world and well done to all the competitors along with their support teams and not least the beautiful horses and ponies who put their best hooves forward. We loved our time at Hickstead, the event was well organised and concluded with a brilliant finish to the Derby with Robert Whitaker winning it, which means Robert and John Whitaker are the first father and son ever to win the Derby! A memorable time was had by all watching a fantastic display of equestrian talent which gave us so many stand-out memories to take home with us.
