Our birthday celebrations continued this week as we rolled out the red carpet for our special guests who came to celebrate with us. We were thrilled that Pauline, South-East Region Chair, and British Olympic, World and European gold medallist Tina Cook were able to join us and their presence made an already special session even more so. Each rider completed an imaginative obstacle course against the clock, well done to everyone, for “knocking it out of the park” with the best finish line reward a beautiful rosette. All made possible by the wonderful volunteers, what a dedicated (and competitive!) group. Massive thanks to the horses and ponies, who deserve a knighthood for being complete superstars throughout, in addition to their owners who really understand how much impact RDA can have on riders. This week has been filled with many memory bank moments as we celebrate LFRDA, which isn’t just hard graft, it’s brilliantly unpredictable, tons of fun and utterly rewarding 🤩
