In Loving Memory of Denise LFRDA Volunteer & Trustee (2015 – 2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our friend and volunteer, Denise, passed away on 16 August 2026. Denise’s time with us began when she answered an advert in a magazine looking for helpers for a new adult RDA group. After attending our open morning, she knew instantly she wanted to join us. Her natural passion and commitment shone through and within six months Denise joined the Board of Trustees, serving faithfully from 2015 to 2019. Her steady guidance, during those years of change and growth, helped build the wonderful community we all share today. Denise also championed our fundraising with endless energy. She was always the first to step forward and help, whether she was organising lively quiz nights, running tombolas, or holding collecting buckets on freezing cold days. Above all, Denise believed completely in the healing power of equine therapy, through her care she brought joy and confidence to many riders. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, and she remains a cherished part of our family, forever woven into the very fabric of Long Furlong RDA. As we move ahead, we will lovingly carry her legacy forward in everything we do. Rest in peace, dear Denise.
