This week we were delighted to do the charity collection at Plumpton. It was a fantastic win for the group as an amazing £605 was collected!! After a misty March morning a classic Spring turnaround saw the weather turning brighter giving the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun as well as the atmosphere of a day at the races. Thank you to the group’s wonderful team of volunteers, armed with buckets in hand, their energy was as high as their smiles! Grateful thanks to the racegoers, trainers, owners and bookies who really stepped up to support LFRDA, their generosity made all the difference and turned a good event into a winning one. A huge shout out to Plumpton Racecourse who looked after us so well and lived up to that extra furlong community spirit!
